The central roller shutter mechanism ACM Titan 240/76 E is suitable for a Φ60 shaft and can be installed on roller shutters with a maximum height of 6.0m and a maximum weight of 180Kg. It has a rod for disengagement and manual operation and is suitable for all roller shutters with springs with external dimensions Φ200 mm or with an adapter of Φ220mm.
The motor is connected to the curtain as shown in the diagram below. If required, then install the adapter.

Dimensions and Description of ACM Titan 240/76 E mechanism
The central roller shutter mechanism ACM Titan 240/76 E is suitable for a Φ60 shaft and can be installed on roller shutters with a maximum height of 6.0m and a maximum weight of 180Kg. It has a rod for disengagement and manual operation and is suitable for all roller shutters with springs with external dimensions Φ200 mm or with an adapter of Φ220mm.

Installation of ACM Titan 240/76 E roller shutter mechanism

- We create a hole 5cm from the center of the shaft as shown in the diagram above.
- Unscrew the M10 bolts from the motor drum.
- Then, using a 6mm Allen key, unscrew the two halves (top and bottom) of the motor drum.
- Remove the plastic strip which is the drum bearing of the mechanism. The plastic strip must be removed carefully so as not to collect impurities but to keep the grease.
- Unscrew the 4 M8 screws with a 6mm Allen key. Then remove the 2 halves of the motor body.
- Optionally, if required, install the plastic adapter for the shaft diameter based on the existing Φ10 hole.
- Reassemble the two halves of the mechanism with the 4 M8 screws, which surround the shaft.
- Insert the M10 bolt into the Φ10 hole we opened at the beginning, using a 17 mm spanner. This bolt has a hexagonal head and no nut. It passes through the shaft to prevent the motor from moving independently of the shaft.
- Carefully replace the bearing (plastic strip).
- Reassemble the two halves of the mechanism drum with the 2 M8 screws using a 6mm Allen key.
- Install the other M10 bolt (which has a nut) and tighten it to secure the motor. Use a 17 mm spanner. Then tighten the "lock nut" to secure the connection.
- Optionally, if required, install the plastic drum diameter adapter.
- Turn the motor to manual operation, holding the disengagement rod. Manually turn the drum a full revolution in the direction the roller shutter closes.
- Secure the upper part of the roller shutter curtain (the last slat) to the motor drum. This is achieved by screwing the corresponding M10 bolt (C) with its washer into the thread of the upper half of the motor drum using a 17 mm spanner. If the motor's position does not allow it, pull the motor rod to bring it to the correct position. (If the curtain has a special piece for connecting it to the motor, use that and do not drill a hole in the last slat of the roller shutter).
- Drill the shaft in two places. The two holes are Φ12mm, one for the disengagement rod in case of power failure for manual operation of the roller shutter and one for the motor power cable. These holes must be smoothed so as not to damage the manual operation rod or the power cable.
- Through the first Φ12mm hole we have created, pass the motor power cable. The cable must be secured so that it is not damaged during the movement of the roller shutter. The cable comes out of the end of the shaft to be connected. The cable can come out to the right or left of the shaft, wherever it is convenient during installation. Connect the cable (to the 3 contacts of the terminal block and to the motor body).
- In the second hole, install the motor release rod. The rod must be secured so that it is not damaged during the movement of the roller shutter. Also, the manual operation rod should not bend but have as small inclinations as possible to function correctly. To pass the rod, the "pine cone" must be removed and reinstalled at the end.
- Check that the motor and roller shutter are correctly connected. Also check that the motor does not allow the roller shutter to move if we have not disengaged the manual operation. If this is not the case, check the connection of the wire rope to the motor and the path of the wire rope so that it does not have steep inclinations and curves.
- Adjust the closed position limit switch of the roller shutter. Close the roller shutter. If the drum is on the left (as we look at it), turn the plastic nut (Q1) until it presses the limit switch (1), at which point it will make a slight "click". Now we have set the fully closed position of the roller shutter.
- Adjust the open position limit switch of the roller shutter. Turn the plastic nut and raise the roller shutter electrically and watch when it presses limit switch 2 so that the movement of the roller shutter stops. It is good for this process to be done hesitantly and in small steps. It is better to make a few more attempts and reach the correct position than to overshoot it by taking large steps. We must be vigilant to stop the movement of the roller shutter ourselves if the limit switch does not stop it.

The motor is connected to the curtain as shown in the diagram below. If required, then install the adapter.
The limit switches cut off the power supply to the mechanism when the roller shutter has completed its travel to the fully open or fully closed position. The limit switches are activated by a black plastic carrier that moves right or left during the movement of the roller shutter. The open and closed positions are adjusted by the plastic nuts on the carrier. Depending on the installation of the mechanism (if the drum is on the left or right), it is determined which switch is for the open and which is for the closed position, respectively.
