Autotech REC-3003-PICO remote control receiver User Manual
The Autotech REC-3003-PICO remote control receiver can only store compatible Autotech remote controls that operate at the same frequency (433.92 MHz) and use the same communication protocol. Therefore, there is a possibility that remote controls operating at 433.92 MHz may not be compatible.
The process of programming a compatible remote control to the Autotech REC-3003-PICO receiver is done using the AUTO LEARN button located at the top left of the receiver. Next to it is the indicator LED. The programming process is as follows:
1. Press and release the AUTO LEARN button the number of times corresponding to the channel and activation function (as a push-button or a switch) that we want to program (1 time for the 1st channel as a push-button, 2 times for the 2nd channel as a push-button, 3 times for the 1st channel as a switch, 4 times for the 2nd channel as a switch).- If we selected the 1st channel as a push-button (1 press), the receiver's indicator LED flashes 1 time every 2 sec and the cycle repeats for a total of 10 sec.
- If we selected the 2nd channel as a push-button (2 presses), the receiver's indicator LED flashes 2 times every 2 sec and the cycle repeats for a total of 10 sec.
- If we selected the 1st channel as a switch (3 presses), the receiver's indicator LED flashes 3 times every 2 sec and the cycle repeats for a total of 10 sec.
- If we selected the 2nd channel as a switch (4 presses), the receiver's indicator LED flashes 4 times every 2 sec and the cycle repeats for a total of 10 sec.
2. While the receiver's indicator LED is flashing, and with the transmitter in the receiver's area, press the button on the remote control that you want the receiver to "learn."
- Essentially, the remote control receiver stores in its memory the code that the remote control has registered for that specific button and associates it with the selected channel.
3. The process is completed:
- if a successful registration is made or
- if we do not take any action before the receiver's indicator LED turns off (in which case, no changes will be made to the list of codes recognized by the remote control receiver)
For additional button registrations, the process must be repeated from the beginning.
CAUTION: With each remote control button memorized, the corresponding channel's relay is also activated, so if the receiver's outputs are connected to an automation panel, they will send corresponding commands. You must either temporarily disconnect the receiver's outputs, or have the mechanism disengaged (in manual mode), or ensure that any operation of the automation will not cause an accident.
Deleting all registered remote controls from the Autotech REC-3003-PICO remote control receiver's memory:
To delete all remote controls from the Autotech REC-3003-PICO remote control receiver, press and hold the AUTO LEARN button for 10 seconds. The indicator LED will start flashing. The receiver's memory is now empty; all remote controls have been deleted.
